Pud’s Challenge is a geography game. You do not need an account to play.

Saved games stay on your device

Your answers, Daily results, streaks, unfinished games and best scores stay on this device. They do not move between devices. Clearing website data or deleting the app may delete them.

Usage data

We use PostHog to learn which games people play and where they stop. It receives a random player ID, game starts and finishes, right or wrong answer counts, points, lives, basic device and browser details, ad and buy-button events, and App Store link clicks. We do not send what you type into an answer box, your name or email. Screen recording and automatic button tracking are off. We do not create named player profiles. PostHog processes this data in its US service.

You can turn usage data off on this device. The games will still work. Your browser’s Do Not Track setting is also respected.

Ads

Free players can see Google ads between games. Ads do not interrupt a question. Paid owners do not get ad breaks in the app. Google may process device and network data to provide ads and prevent fraud. The iPhone and Android apps request non-personalised ads and uses Google’s consent choices where needed. Ads may be unavailable while Google reviews the app or website, or when no ad is ready.

Sharing

If you share a score, your device sends the score and game link to the service you pick. That service has its own privacy rules. We do not share your full answer history.

Payments

Apple or Google Play handles the optional one-time payment. The iPhone app checks Apple’s proof of ownership. Android sends Google’s purchase token to our Kelaros billing service, which checks and confirms it with Google Play and returns a signed proof of ownership. This service does not keep purchase tokens or log request bodies. We do not receive your card details. Get my games back checks your app store for purchases. It does not bring back scores saved on a different device.

Website hosting

Cloudflare hosts this website. It uses request details, such as your IP address, to load and protect the site. The iPhone and Android apps store game content in the app so it can play offline.

Permissions

The game does not ask for your camera, microphone, contacts or location.

Retention and deletion

Local game saves and the latest ad-report context stay on this device until replaced or removed by clearing app data or deleting the app. The ad-report context contains only the latest ad time, platform, app version, build and ad unit.

We do not currently apply a separate automatic deletion period to usage events. We retain them for ongoing product analysis until we delete them or fulfil an applicable deletion request. PostHog’s plan limits access to historical events; that limit is not a guarantee that older events have been deleted. Turning usage data off stops new usage events from this device; it does not delete earlier events.

Google keeps advertising and consent data according to its data retention policy, with different periods for different purposes, including fraud prevention and legal requirements. Apple and Google retain payment records under their own policies and legal duties. We cannot delete records that those providers are legally required to keep.

We keep support emails and ad reports while needed to investigate, respond, manage a dispute or meet a legal duty. You can ask us to delete them when they are no longer needed for those purposes. Data already irreversibly anonymised cannot be associated with a device. Provider backups and deletion queues may take additional time to clear.

Request deletion of usage data

Email support@kelaros.com to request access to or deletion of data we can associate with your device. Include the usage data ID below so we can locate events without asking for your game answers. If you want new usage collection to stop, use Turn usage data off above before sending the request. Each device has its own ID. If you cleared the app’s data, we may be unable to connect the new ID to earlier events.

The request opens in your email app for you to review and send. It includes the displayed usage data ID. Nothing is sent automatically. We will respond to applicable requests within the time required by law. Deleting usage data does not erase your local scores, delete your app-store account or refund a purchase.

Service providers

PostHog processes analytics under its data processing agreement. We require providers processing personal data on our behalf to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable privacy requirements. Google’s advertising and consent services also operate under Google’s privacy policy. We do not sell your usage data or authorise its use for cross-company advertising profiles.

Report an ad

Use Report an ad for inappropriate or age-inappropriate ads. The report is prepared on your device. Your email app sends it only when you choose to send.
