How do lives work?

All six games start with 3 lives. A wrong answer, a skip or running out of time costs 1 life. A right answer keeps your lives. The game ends when you lose all 3 lives or finish the questions. You still see the last answer before your score.

How do points work?

A right answer earns 100, 75, 50 or 25 points. Answer sooner to earn more. In the flag game, use fewer clues to earn more. Wrong answers and skips earn no points.

How does Daily work?

Daily is free. It picks one of the six games each day. When apps are up to date, everyone gets the same Daily. There are up to 5 flag or map questions, or 6 size questions. Your first try counts. Daily resets at midnight UTC, which may be a different time where you live.

When do ads show?

Only between games, after you finish a game. They do not interrupt a question or take away a life. If no ad is ready, play carries on. Paid owners do not get ad breaks in the app.

How do I report an ad?

Open Report an ad from the All games screen, Privacy or this page. Choose what was wrong and add a description if you want. Review the message, then send it from your email app. You can attach a screenshot there. If no email app is available, copy the report and email support@kelaros.com using your usual email service.

Can I pause?

Yes. Tap Pause to stop the clock. Leaving the app also pauses it. Your game is saved on this device. Tap Keep playing to carry on.

Is there sound?

Sound starts on, after your first tap. Tap the speaker to turn it off or on. A red X means sound is off. Check your phone’s volume and silent mode too. There is no music or spoken voice.

Can I play without internet?

Yes, in the iPhone and Android apps. Games and pictures are saved in the app. The website needs internet to load. Daily uses your device’s clock.

Where did my scores go?

Scores stay on each device. They do not move between your phone, computer or the website. Deleting the app or clearing browser data may delete your scores. There is no account or online score backup.

How do I remove ads?

All six games are free to play. In the iPhone or Android app, pay once to remove ads and open past Daily games. The US price is US$3.99. Your app store shows your price before you pay. There is no monthly fee. Daily stays free. Apple or Google Play handles payment and refunds. You cannot buy games on the website.

What does Get my games back do?

It brings back ad-free play and past Daily games you paid for. Use the same store and account you used to buy. A purchase works in the store where you bought it. It does not bring back saved scores.

Why was a country bigger than I thought?

Which Is Bigger? uses total area, with land and water. The source decides which places count as part of each country. The shapes on the choice buttons are shown at different scales. The squares in the answer show their true size compared to each other. See Facts & credits.
